All pans are half pans and are a standard size for watercolor palettes and
The half pan measures 15mm x 19mm in size and 10mm deep. 
This is the most common size of watercolor pan set available. 
A half pan can hold about 1.5 ml of paint
If you have a standard sized palette already, they will fit in it.
They will look more like acrylic when you use a little bit of water
When you want a washy more traditional watercolor look just add more water
